2027 Wheelchair Basketball European Championships, Liverpool is delivered by UKEL Ltd. UKEL Ltd is a company incorporated in England and Wales with a registered address at UKEL Ltd, 10 Queen Street Place, London, EC4R 1AG (Event Organiser, we, us, our).

2.1. By purchasing your ticket(s) and/or using the ticket(s) to enter the 2027 Wheelchair Basketball European Championships, Liverpool (the Event, WBEURO27) at the M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool, England (the Venue), you hereby unconditionally and irrevocably agree to be legally bound by and to comply with the following terms and conditions (Terms).

2.2. These Terms apply to each official ticket for an official session of the WBEURO27 event.

2.3. All tickets are purchased and/or used subject to the terms and conditions of the ticketing service providers (as applicable) including Ticket Quarter, Twickets, the Venue: M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, Additionally, these terms are supplemented by the WBEURO27 Spectator Regulations. If there is any conflict or ambiguity between the terms of the documents listed in this paragraph 2.3 and these Terms, the following order of precedence shall apply: (i) these Terms; (ii) the WBEURO27 Spectator Regulations; (iii) Ticket Quarter or Twickets (as applicable); and (iv) the Venue.

2.4. Failure to comply with these Terms, the terms of the authorised ticket retailers (as applicable) (see Paragraph 3 of these Terms), the Venue and/or the WBEURO27 Spectator Regulations, and/or any requirements set by regulatory or governmental bodies may result in your removal from the Event and Venue, and your ticket being invalidated without any right to a refund, compensation, or re-admission. The Event Organiser and Venue reserve all rights accordingly.

2.5. Tickets purchased or sold outside of our authorised retailers (see paragraph 3 for further details) are not valid for entry to WBEURO27. The resale or offer of sale or transfer of a ticket via unauthorised outlets renders it immediately invalid and may lead to refusal of entry to the Event. We reserve the right to seize or cancel tickets that we reasonably believe to be subject to fraudulent use, resale, or transfer outside of our authorised retailers (or attempted resale or transfer) without a refund or any other form of compensation. We and the Venue reserve the right to refuse admission.

2.6. As a condition of entry, you may be required to comply with restrictions and/or entry requirements imposed at the time of the Event by us or relevant authorities. We and the Venue reserve the right to refuse entry to the Event if these are not complied with.

2.7. These Terms do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

2.8. Please note that the Event Organiser is not responsible for the content on any third-party websites.

2.9. Any breach of these Terms by you shall entitle the Event Organiser and/or the Venue to remove or refuse your entry to the Event without any right to a refund, compensation, or re-admission.

3.1. Tickets for WBEURO27 can only be obtained from the following authorised retailers, who are appointed to issue tickets on behalf of the Event Organiser:

Any individual attempting to use a ticket is responsible for ensuring the ticket is valid and may be required, upon request, to verify that they have obtained the ticket through an authorised source, including from an authorised seller/ reseller or in accordance with applicable laws in England regarding ticket sales or resales. If any individual fails to verify to the Event Organiser’s satisfaction that their ticket has been obtained through the Event Organiser’s authorised sources or in accordance with the applicable laws, they may be refused entry to or removed from the Venue and their ticket may be cancelled without notice without any right to a refund, compensation, or re-admission.

Ticket Acquisition

4.1. The ticket you purchase/ acquire remains, at all times, the property of the Event Organiser and constitutes a personal, revocable licence for one person to enter a session at the WBEURO27, and occupy a seat or a standing area at the session specified on the ticket (subject to any official rescheduling by the Event Organiser, which shall be communicated in accordance with paragraph 8). If a ticket is cancelled for any reason in accordance with these Terms, the personal licence granted to enter the Event and remain in the Venue shall immediately and automatically be revoked.

4.2. When obtaining a ticket through the Event Organiser’s authorised sources, including purchasing a ticket from our authorised ticket seller or reseller, it is your responsibility to ensure that your contact information is correct and accurate. We accept no liability for any errors in the information you provide, and we cannot guarantee that tickets will be safely dispatched or received if there are any inaccuracies in the contact details supplied at the time of purchase. If you become aware of any inaccuracies in your contact details before you receive your tickets, please promptly contact your ticket provider/retailer to update your contact information.

4.3. Online ticket purchases on TicketQuarter are limited to 10 tickets per Event session, per billing address, subject to availability.

4.4. Schools, groups and clubs requiring more than ten (10) tickets per session may contact our authorised retailer, Ticket Quarter, on 0344 561 7672, phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 09:00 – 17:00 (excluding Bank Holidays). Alternatively, you can email groups@ticketquarter.co.uk. Details of your organisation will be required by TicketQuarter to process your booking.

4.5. Subject to availability on TicketQuarter, a range of tickets for WBEURO27 are available:

TICKETQUARTER tickets: Face value ticket prices are available here, and all TicketQuarter tickets prices are subject to additional booking fees per ticket. All orders made via TicketQuarter are subject to a one-off £2.95 per order processing fee, regardless of the number of tickets ordered.

TWICKETS re-sale tickets: Please note that ticket prices and fees for tickets purchased through our official resale platform Twickets may vary. Availability of tickets on Twickets is subject to change and cannot be guaranteed. Only single day tickets are permitted for resale via Twickets.

4.6. All customers have the option to purchase ticket protection insurance when buying tickets through TicketQuarter. This insurance is subject to the terms and conditions of Secure My Booking. The Event Organiser accepts no liability for agreements entered into with third party insurers. For claims or discussions, please contact Secure My Booking directly. Please note that fees for optional Secure My Booking ticket protection insurance are non-refundable if the event is cancelled or rescheduled.

Seat Locations

4.7. Seat locations for the event will be confirmed during the TicketQuarter ticket booking process and noted on your ticket. All ticketing is allocated seating.

4.8. All customers are required to sit in the seat assigned to them as stated on the ticket within the Venue, unless otherwise notified by the Event Organiser or the Venue.

Multi Day Passes

4.9. Subject to availability, tickets that grant access to multiple days will be available on TicketQuarter.

Concession Tickets

4.10. Concession tickets are available for:

4.11. We and the Venue reserve the right to request proof of eligibility when attending the Event, and we and the Venue further reserve the right to refuse entry, without refund, to any person who is unable to provide such proof of eligibility on request.

Children’s Admission

4.12. Children aged 14 or under on the date they are scheduled to attend must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.

4.13. Children under two years of age on the date that they attend do not require a ticket, provided they do not take up a seat.

4.14. We and the Venue reserve the right to request proof of age both upon entry and at any time throughout the Event.

4.15. The Event Organisers and Venue further reserve the right to refuse entry, without refund, to any person who is unable to provide such photographic proof of age on request.

5.1. Access to the WBEURO27 is strictly limited to authorised personnel, staff and workforce of the Event Organiser and the Venue, and individuals holding a valid ticket. Entry to the relevant WBEURO27 session will only be granted upon presentation of such a ticket, security badge, or valid staff, workforce or authorised personnel access pass. You must keep your ticket, security badge, or valid staff, workforce or authorised personnel access pass on you at all times and be able to present it, if requested by the Event Organiser, the Venue or their staff, throughout the Event.

5.2. We reserve the right to refuse admission if you are not in possession of a valid ticket.

5.3. In the interests of fraud prevention, no tickets will be replaced or ticket prices refunded if a ticket is forgotten, lost, stolen, defaced, damaged or destroyed.

6.1. M&S Bank Arena Liverpool is a fully accessible venue and we are happy to offer Nimbus Access Card holders a complimentary ticket if you require a companion to accompany you. More information about the Nimbus Access Card scheme and the registration process can be found here.

6.2. Wheelchair and accessible tickets can be booked online via the Ticket Quarter platform. For more information about accessible bookings you can contact the Venues Customer Care team on (+44) 0344 335 0437, lines are open Monday to Friday, from 09:00 – 17:00 (excluding bank holidays).

6.3. We and the Venue reserve the right to request proof of eligibility when attending and throughout the Event. This is to ensure that the services are provided to those who genuinely need them. We will handle all requests sensitively and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

7.1. Tickets will be distributed to customers from late summer 2027 and you can expect to receive pre-booked tickets no later than 7 days before the Event you are scheduled to attend. If your contact details change before you receive your tickets, please contact your ticket provider/retailer to update your contact information. Always check your tickets as soon as you receive them, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

7.2. All valid tickets grant admission to the relevant WBEURO27 competition session detailed on the ticket. Please take good care of your tickets – they cannot always be replaced.

7.3. Each ticket will indicate the designated entry point to the Venue. Stewards and signage will be located in public access areas to help guide you and directional signage will be in place.

Event Competition Schedule

8.1. The Event competition schedule and session timings are subject to change. We reserve the right to alter or change the Event competition schedule or session timings where it becomes necessary to do so. If significant changes occur, we will notify you promptly via the email provided at the time of your ticket booking, as well as through updates on the WBEURO27 website and social media channels.

8.2. Subject to paragraph 9, in the event a WBEURO27 session is cancelled in its entirety, original valid tickets will be valid for the alternative rescheduled session. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled session:

8.2.1. If your ticket was purchased from TicketQuarter, TicketQuarter will contact you with information and details of how to apply for a refund.

8.2.2. Any customer who has purchased a ticket from Twickets, please see the procedure set

out in paragraph 8.8.

8.3. Subject to paragraph 9, if a session is cancelled in its entirety with no rescheduled date, all customers with a valid purchased ticket from TicketQuarter will receive a full refund. For TicketQuarter bookings, this refund will also include any booking fees. Please note that optional Secure My Booking ticket protection insurance fees cannot be refunded. Any customer who has purchased a ticket from Twickets, please see the procedure set out in paragraph 8.8. If you possess a complimentary ticket, please reach out to the ticket issuer for further details. Note that the complimentary ticket may be subject to the issuer’s specific terms and conditions.

8.4. Subject to paragraph 9, in the instance that an Event session is partially cancelled, refunds of valid purchased tickets will be issued by TicketQuarter at the discretion of the Event Organiser. Any customer who has purchased a ticket from Twickets, please see the procedure set out in paragraph 8.8. Refunds from TicketQuarter or Twickets for partially cancelled sessions cannot be guaranteed, and no further costs or compensation will be offered. Please note that optional Secure My Booking ticket protection insurance fees cannot be refunded.

8.5. To the fullest extent permitted by law, should the Event be cancelled (in whole or in part) or competition schedule or session timings change, the Event Organiser will not be liable for the payment of any compensation or for any loss of money and/or expenses incurred by the ticket holder including but not limited to travel, subsistence and/or accommodation costs.

Ticket Refunds for paid-for tickets and Resale

8.6. Please check the WBEURO27 website and social media channels before travelling to your session at the Event to check that it has not been cancelled or rescheduled.

8.7. TICKETQUARTER: If your ticket has been purchased from TicketQuarter, refunds will be automatically processed by TicketQuarter. Please see TicketQuarter’s terms and conditions for its refund process and timescales.

8.8. TWICKETS: If you purchased your ticket from Twickets, please follow the procedures outlined in Twickets’ ticketing terms and conditions for buyers.

8.9. If your payment card details have changed since you processed your booking, please contact the authorised ticket retailer who you purchased your ticket from.

Customers who require a refund because they can no longer use their purchased tickets are invited to use Twickets, the official WBEURO27 ethical ticket resale platform. Only single day tickets are permitted for resale via Twickets.

In the event that the Event is delayed by an event, circumstance or cause outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, any act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, national mourning, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authority, national defence requirements or acts or regulations of national or local governments or other events, circumstances or causes beyond the control of the Event Organiser or Venue, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Event. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling options will be provided in accordance with paragraph 8 of these Terms.

10.1. Personal arrangements relating to the Event including, but not limited to, travel, subsistence and accommodation are arranged at your own risk.

10.2. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for:

10.2.1. death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors during the course of their employment;

10.2.2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by the Event Organiser; or

10.2.3. any liability which may not be excluded or limited as a matter of English law.

10.3. Subject to paragraph 10.2, our liability to you shall not exceed the face value price of the ticket. Your statutory rights are not affected.

10.4. To the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to paragraph 10.2, the Event Organiser expressly excludes all liability resulting from:

10.4.1. any failure or delay by the Event Organiser in carrying out its obligations which is caused by circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Event Organiser;

10.4.2. the alteration of the dates and times of WBEURO27 sessions;

10.4.3. the abandonment, postponement or cancellation of WBEURO27 sessions or WBEURO27 sessions being undertaken behind closed doors or with limited/restricted attendance;

10.4.4. any failure to obtain a Ticket and/or replacements due to the acts or omissions of any third-party postal service provider;

10.4.5. for any interruptions and/or restrictions to the view of the session caused by virtue of the position of the seat;

10.4.6. actions of spectators or other third parties at the Event including restrictions to the view of the session at the Event caused by the actions of other spectators; and

10.4.7. a ticket holder choosing not to attend the Event session for any reason other than the cancellation of the relevant Event session, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Event Organiser, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

10.5. To the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to paragraph 10.2, the Event Organiser shall have no liability whatsoever for any of the following types of loss or damages, whether arising directly or indirectly:

10.5.1. tickets acquired or purchased from an unauthorised ticket provider, seller or reseller or via an auction site or through any other medium not approved by the Event Organiser that provides resold, duplicated or invalid tickets;

10.5.2. loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure;

10.5.3. travel, subsistence and/or accommodation costs;

10.5.4. any loss or damage to or theft of your property at the Event and in or around the Venue; and/or

10.5.5. any losses arising from a ticket being used for commercial purposes (i.e. where the Ticket is/ has not being purchased and used by a consumer), except where it is caused by the negligence of the Event Organiser, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

12.1. You acknowledge that:

12.1.1. the Event Organiser is the exclusive owner of WBEURO27 and all associated commercial and intellectual property rights, including (but not limited to) copyright, trade marks, trade names, trade dress, logos, designs, symbols and emblems; and

12.1.2. except as permitted by relevant laws regarding fair use, you have no right to use, display, exploit or otherwise utilise any or any part of the Event Organiser’s commercial and intellectual property rights without the prior written approval from the Event Organiser.

13.1. Without prejudice to any other remedies it may have, the Event Organiser and/or Venue shall have the right in the case of any breach of the Terms (including any of the third-party terms and conditions and/or Spectator Regulations referred to in these Terms) to cancel and withdraw a ticket or refuse a customer admission to the Event, without any right to a refund, compensation, or re-admission. Without prejudice to the general nature of the above, the following actions shall constitute a breach of the Terms:

13.1.1. smoking in designated non-smoking areas;

13.1.2. being (or appearing to be) intoxicated;

13.1.3. persistent standing in seated areas whilst a WBEURO27 session is in progress;

13.1.4. the sale or transfer (save as permitted) of a ticket to any person;

13.1.5. the possession of a banner or flag that bears material or slogans that are offensive, obscene, abusive or racist;

13.1.6. the supply of any misleading or incorrect information in any application;

13.1.7. the throwing of any object within the Venue that may cause injury or damage to people or property without lawful authority or excuse;

13.1.8. the chanting of anything of an indecent or racist nature; and

13.1.9. failure to follow the instructions of the Event Organiser or Venue stewards, staff, workforce or any other of the Event Organiser or Venue’s safety personnel, including failure to adhere to the Spectator Regulations and/or Venue terms and conditions.

13.2. The Event Organiser aims to confront and eliminate all discrimination, whether by reason of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability or gender reassignment. The Event Organiser will tackle all discrimination to make the WBEURO27 a safe and welcoming place for all. The Event Organiser will not tolerate any form of racial, homophobic or any other discriminatory abuse, chanting or harassment. Any instances of such behaviour shall result in arrest and ejection from the WBEURO27 and Venue. In such circumstances, the Event Organiser also reserves the right to cancel an individual

ticket with no refund being provided and to issue a ban on such individual attending any or all other WBEURO27 sessions.

14.1. We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time, and shall notify you of such changes if they materially affect your rights as a consumer.

14.2. The invalidity or partial invalidity of any provision of these Terms shall not prejudice or affect the remainder of these Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect. If any invalid, unenforceable or illegal provision of this agreement would be valid, enforceable and legal if some part of it were deleted, the provision shall apply with the minimum modification necessary to make it legal, valid and enforceable.

14.3. Our failure to exercise, or delay in exercising, any right, power or remedy provided by these Terms or by law shall not constitute a waiver of that right, power or remedy.

14.4. Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and with the exception of TicketQuarter (as applicable), Twickets (as applicable), the Venue, no other person other than you or the Event Organiser has any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to rely on or enforce any term of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms shall affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available other than as a result of the aforementioned Act.

14.5. This agreement is governed by English law and we each irrevocably agree to submit all disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
